Here at Rocco Sauvage we really believe in supporting indie designers. I have been working with some amazing men’s leather independent designers, production artists and visionaries. Men who have created brands out of recycled fire hose, Men who have been working with leather by hand for decades. Men who are dedicated to the craft. I want to support my friends and feature their products on Roccosauvage.com. I believe in their work and they also support me in many ways.
I have been working and designing men’s leather goods for the past several years, What men want is products, that like them, will get better with age. Men don’t buy bags the same way women do. Men don’t buy bags to match the color of their dress or based on the trend for the season. Men buy products that are functional and look manly. They don’t care so much that Marsala is the hottest color of 2015 or that “fringe” is in and top handle bags are out. Men buy what they like and they want it to last for a decade. They want it to look good going to the office or taking their lady to brunch on Sunday. They don’t want a bag that looks like they are trying too hard or looks anything like a purse.
The satchels I am bringing to Rocco Sauvage are going to be unique, hand sewn, rugged leather goods that remind one of the 1940’s and 50’s.
Here is a sneak peek of our first style the Milan Satchel. Support indie designers and men’s brands. We are not trying to be the next Coach or Michael Kors, we are a few Americans who love design and making things that last.
Enjoy our site and check back often for new men’s leather goods, that like you, will get better with age.
